The 70s Strain
For decades, Semillon was an important grape variety in Chile. In the 1960s, it was a staple. Today, almost no one knows about it. And finding an old-vine Semillon is becoming increasingly difficult.
David
Today, David manages the vineyard; a hippie friend of mine, who tends the vineyard and lives there with his family. It's not a pure Semillon vineyard, but rather, among País, Muscat, Rosé, and others, we find this Semillon, in which we select only these plants.
