M2
M-2 because it is the second wine we make from the old Palomino vineyard in Pago de Miraflores.
It is made with grapes from the middle and lower areas of our estate, where the soil surface takes on brown tones and the white albariza lies in deeper layers.
With deep respect for the traditions and history of winemaking in the Jerez region, as well as for the surrounding environment, our sole purpose is to create a white wine that expresses its origins and a sense of place. This is our interpretation of Miraflores Alta.
For this reason, it is made using a classic white vinification process (it is not a fortified wine), with the presence of a veil of flor that develops in Manzanilla casks, as well as in barrels and foudres.
TA/RRAZ
The label shows my grandmother. She was born in the Sierra de Salamanca, also known as the Sierra de Francia, in a town called Fuente Buena.
In Mogarraz, a nearby town, there are more than 700 portraits painted on the facades by the artist Florencio MaĂllo. We asked him to also paint my grandmother's portrait, and today it is part of this label.
At the beginning of the 20th century, she emigrated to Chile, where she planted a vineyard. Since he was a child, he accompanied her and helped her in any way he could.
Decades later, I returned to their land. I found ancient vineyards in the mountain ranges known as the Central System, planted on terraces of granite, slate, schist, and other rocks, surrounded by extensive native forest.
Rufete reigns here, but Calabrese and Aragonese strains also predominate.
It rains more than a thousand millimeters a year and summer nights are cool.
TA/RRAZ is that fusion of memory and landscape. A wine that, through my story, unites Chile with Spain.
TA/MIRA
Why a blue prawn? In SanlĂşcar, there's a prawn famous for its culinary quality and its blue tail. This TA/MIRA prawn dreams of being completely blue; it's a dreamer like most of us who make wine.
Also present is the poem by Federico GarcĂa Lorca (FGL) that speaks of the human being imprisoned by his dreams in time.
TA/MIRA comes from our own vineyard located in Pago de Miraflores, where the sea can be seen due to its proximity.
Ancient Palomino vines on albariza soils, a limestone soil that gives the Marco's soils a characteristic white color.

TA/RILLA
Old Garnacha vineyard at high altitude in Rioja Alta, in the Ebro River basin, along a series of terraces and slopes protected by the Cantabrian Mountains.
The label features the Fibonacci sequence, or golden ratio, with seven significant dates. Each one represents an important milestone that culminated in the production of this wine.
